Geospatial Innovation for Food Security Challenge Kickoff Workshop

November 13 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

T-REX

Geospatial technologies, methods, and information can help build a food secure future, from finding new ways to decide where we grow crops as the climate changes, to generating innovative models for how organizations coordinate along supply chains, to helping people see the impacts of eating well every day. TGI is assembling an interdisciplinary community of researchers, innovators and implementers to work together to advance geospatial innovation and create a new future for the food system grounded in sustainability and food security.

TGI invites you to apply to participate in three (3) in-person workshops: November 13, February 6, and April 17. Selected applicants will collaborate with researchers and professionals from diverse organizations and backgrounds to co-design the Geospatial Innovation in Food Security Challenge.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Applications received before 25 October 2024 will be prioritized.
