Professor Adrian Percy will discuss how the North Carolina Plant Sciences Initiative leverages inter-disciplinary science, entrepreneurism and collaborative partnerships to advance the plant sciences to the benefit of growers, consumers, and other food chain stakeholders. His visit also creates an exciting opportunity to explore the collaborative potential between the St. Louis, North Carolina State University and Research Triangle Park ecosystems.

Professor Percy is a Venture Partner at Finistere Ventures and serves on the board of directors of Nufarm, a major crop input provider, and a number of early-stage AgriTech companies. He previously served as the Chief Technology Officer of UPL and the Head of Research and Development of the Crop Science division of Bayer.
